Hi, I’m Eilidh (pronounced AY-lee) – I’m from Scotland, which explains the slightly unusual spelling of my name!
I graduated in 2022 from Glasgow Caledonian University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with Second Class Honours and started my career with the National Health Service as a Rotational Physiotherapist. During that time, I gained experience across a range of areas including stroke rehabilitation, orthopaedic (trauma and elective inpatients), and both paediatric and adult MSK.
Over the past year, I’ve chosen to specialise within MSK and have a particular interest in upper limb rehabilitation, especially shoulder conditions. I was also involved in a UK-based randomised controlled trial looking at physiotherapy management following arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, helping to contribute to improvements in post-operative rehab.
I enjoy going out for a long walk/ hike, hunting down a good coffee spot, or being (gently) persuaded to go to the gym by my husband. As the saying goes, I can chat for Britain which definitely helps when building rapport with patients!
