Susan graduated from CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) and is a registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA and Occupational Therapy Australia. She is passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, advocating for Indigenous health and wellbeing, and supporting people across all stages of life to achieve meaningful goals and improve independence.
Susan is a Senior Occupational Therapist and OT Team Lead at Entirely Health, where she supports and mentors the occupational therapy team and Allied Health Assistants. She has experience working across the lifespan in a wide variety of settings, including NDIS, WorkCover Queensland, community, school, home, and clinic-based services. She has a strong interest in return-to-work rehabilitation, assistive technology assessments and prescription, and supporting clients with complex physical, psychosocial, and neurological needs. Susan enjoys the diversity that occupational therapy brings and loves that no two days are ever the same.
A highlight of Susan’s week is travelling to Woorabinda, where she values building strong community connections and providing culturally responsive occupational therapy services. She is deeply committed to advocacy, collaboration, and helping individuals feel empowered within their everyday lives.
Susan has also enjoyed opportunities to present at the Occupational Therapy Australia Conference, contribute to the CQUniversity Occupational Therapy Course Reference Committee, completed Healthia’s Business Leadership Program, and mentor university students entering the profession.
Outside of work, Susan enjoys weekend getaways with her partner and boys and loves visiting family in Aotearoa (New Zealand).
